3M Performance Yellow Masking Tape 301+ is an industrial strength masking tape that sticksinstantly to most surfaces including metal, rubber, glass, plastic and removes easily to createsharp paint lines. The third in our Masking Made Simple line of tapes, this distinctive taperemains in place when formed around corners, through contours, and over irregular surfaces withoutlifting or curling. The strong crepe paper backing resists bleed through of most industrial paintsystems and is also useful for bundling and holding. Its unique color also makes it ideal formarking and identifying. Using our proprietary solvent-free adhesive, this tape sticks to mostsurfaces including metal, rubber, glass, and plastic and removes easily and cleanly in one piece.301+ has a temperature use range up to 225F (107C) for 30 minutes so that sharp paint lines canbe created in room temperature or paint-bake operations.

Masking tape was developed specificallyto help protect surrounding surfaces from overspray, provide clean paint lines, and remove easilyand cleanly when finished. Our masking tapes adhere well, resist solvents or water from the paint,and are strong enough to hang plastic sheeting, yet remove cleanly without damaging thesubsurface. The backing, typically crepe paper, can conform to curved and irregular surfaces. Thetape hand tears for tool-free application.
