Secure 948 green high temperature masking tape has been specifically designed for the powdercoating and electroplating industries. Made from a polyester backing and silicone adhesive it can withstand 255C short term. It is a cheaper alternative to Kapton/Polyamide film. It has excellent abrasion resistance which prevents tearing. It is also highly resistant to moisture, acids, alkalais, oils and other chemicals. It has high adhesion on most substrates while still offering clean removal. The tape provides a sharp, clean edge in masking applications and has zero distortion in bake cycles.
